Satellite tv for pc pictures have revealed the extent of injury at Russia’s Saki Air Base on Ukraine’s Crimean Peninsula, which is presently occupied by Russian navy forces.

The explosions on the air base come practically six months into Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. A collection of explosions rocked the airfield on Tuesday (Aug. 9), which have been captured on digicam (opens in new tab) by vacationing beachgoers close by. The Russian Ministry of Protection issued an announcement shortly after the incident claiming the blasts have been the results of an unintentional detonation of aviation munitions, based on a report by CNN (opens in new tab).
